Cuff Me! Embroidered Cuff~ 2/1/12 11:00am Learn basic bead embroidery techniques with a freeform approach. Students will learn how to peyote bezel set cabochons as well as how to finish off this lovely cuff with ultrasuede. This is one of Kelly's most popular classes!
Bezeled Bottle Cap Pendant 2/2/12 11:00a.m.
Have you ever wondered what to do with your leftover bottle caps with the super cool logos on them? Wonder no more! Use these caps to make a stunning pendant. Learn how to peyote bezel-set these caps with seed beads and a basic bead embroidery technique. Students will finish their pendants by backing it with Ultrasuede. Bring your own favorite bottle caps from home or choose from Kelly's vast collection. Kits will be available in several colorways.
Oh Suzanna Bracelet - 2/3/12 3:00p.m. Students will create a base for this lovely bracelet using flat peyote stitch. Once the base is constructed, embellishment techniques will be taught in order to spice up this sparkly bracelet. This is a wonderful class for the beginning beader wanting to familiarize themselves with basic peyote stitch.
Desert Garden Bracelet- 2/4/12 10:00 a.m. Keep the beautiful colors of the Tucson desert close at all times with this amazing bracelet. Class will cover basic bead stringing techniques using crimps and jewelry wire to create a base for this bracelet. Students will learn a variety of fringing and embellishment techniques using high-quality seed beads, along with an assortment of larger glass beads. With these skills, students will be able to complete this bracelet at home. This class is perfect for the beginning beader wanting to familiarize themselves with seed bead work.
